Being a huge Nightmare Before Christmas fan, I had always wanted to go as Jack and Sally with my fiancee for Halloween, however I always hated the older design of the Sally costume. It wasn't flattering especially for a girl with curves. I felt like I was in a sack. But this comstume is perfect. It's more of a modern approach to sally (since the costume is made in the vein of the typical slutty woman's halloween costume, without being slutty!) and it's perfect for curvy girls. I tried on the costume and couldn't believe how great it looked on me! If you're worried about the sizing (like I usually am) the costume does stretch. The biggest size (12/14) fit me beautifully and I'm a full figured, big breasted curvy woman. I typically wear a dress size of 14 so the costume does fit true to size. I'm very pleased with the costume, however I will admit the picture makes it seem better than it truly is , but isn't that usually the case with halloween costumes? Over-all it's perfect for someone who is looking for a more modern look to their sally costume.

I'm really disappointed with this costume. As the other reviewer on here has mentioned: the wig is useless garbage. The hair is only in the front. If you would wear the wig as shown on the picture, there would be no hair in the back. Terrible. And the back of the dress has no patchwork at all, plain yellow.So if you would see the girl on the cover from the back it would be an ugly yellow dress with no hair.The under skirt is the most pathetic quality. Stiff and cheap!For that money I was expecting better quality!

It is a known fact that halloween costumes never look like they do in the picture. As for this one, I have to say that the dress looked even better. Colors are bright, shape was perfect. I was a little worried about the size Small being too big for me since it says it fits sizes 4-6 (I am 5'1" and 110lb), but it fits just right. It's not too lose and very flattering on your curves. The petticoat uses velcro to adjust it to your waist, but it is so stretched that the velcro won't stick together (I will just have to use some kind of pin to attach it). The wig is a little light on the yarn, but it's a matter of distributing it evenly. I had read about some girls adding extra yarn to it, and it's a good idea if you have the extra time, but not needed.Overall it's a great buy for the price (If you compare to other costumes at about the same price that don't have these many details).
